Flo Angel was born during one of the most difficult seasons of my life.
Like many people during COVID, I suddenly found myself facing uncertainty, financial pressure, and personal health struggles all at once. I had lost my income, lockdown had changed everything overnight, and honestly… I felt completely lost.
I remember spending nearly two weeks lying in bed crying, overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty about what would come next.
But somewhere in the middle of all that uncertainty, I realised something important: there was a gap in the South African market for a menstrual cup that truly felt comfortable, soft, and approachable.
More than a product. A movement.
From the very beginning, Flo Angel was never only about selling menstrual cups.
Since launching Flo Angel in 2020, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with schools, NPOs, municipalities, and companies committed to meaningful corporate social responsibility initiatives across South Africa.
Together, we’ve helped distribute over 10,000 Flo Angel menstrual cups to young girls in underserved communities.
But the impact goes far beyond a product.
